When it comes to mainstream media, all they want to talk about are things that are more appealing to society. They do not want to tackle things that go to the core. Homegrown, co-founded by Varun Patra and his sister, is a platform that seeks to tap into what the mainstream media does not wish to cover. A platform that speaks all about things which people may deem offensive but is what the people should be talking about out loud. The two now regularly give guest lectures and are regularly invited to talk about their entrepreneurial journey in creating a successful company as Homegrown from scratch.
